Are You A True Expert?
FMH is searching for competent professionals who possess extraordinary
writing skills. If you can effectively explain your area of expertise,
through print, in a "how to" format, and such writing is compelling
enough to win you customers, please contact FMH at z8ech5wxp@tanglewood4fastmoneyhappens.com.
You must be able to write in a manner
that "translates" difficult subject matter and jargon into content and
concepts easily understood by the "uninitiated" layperson (i.e. your
potential customer). To reemphasize, your talent and writing ability
must be outstanding. {note: remove "tanglewood4"
from email address before sending. This is to eliminate unwanted
automated message submission.}
In the coming months FMH intends to promote www.fastmoneyhappens.com through print advertising. We believe that we can get significant numbers of prospects to our site in this manner. Once here we want to deliver such prospects, even those who do not buy from FMH, highly useful information. For example, if a lady visits the FMH site intrigued by some part of our "offer", but decides not to buy, we figure that she will probably peruse the other information on the site while, before, or after she is in the process of coming to a decision regarding the FMH offer itself. Let's say she is a housewife that has never been able to solve the problem of "creaky" hardwood floors in her home. Well, we would like her, while glancing through the FMH site, to stumble upon an article written by a professional floor installer that explains "how to" stop your floors from creaking. We want two forms of that article. The first will be a short form article that specifically outlines, step by step, what she needs to do to remedy the problem. The bottom of the short form article will do two things for her. It will display a link to the "full article"(only one article may be necessary in some cases) that is the "robust", detailed, form of the short, "skeleton", article and next to it will be the "Call A Pro" link, or information link, that pertains to, in this case, the professional floor installer. Most importantly, the advice must be valid and, if carried out properly, it must remedy the problem. We do not mind a professional, at the bottom of the article, explaining that, in his opinion, the skill level required to carry out the job is beyond that of the ordinary person, but what we do mind is incomplete or deceptive instructions that will result in failure so that the person will have no choice but to call for service. Additionally, if the "Call A Pro" option is used we want the Pro to "fix the problem-period" or decline the job in the first place; no 1/2 done repairs that the Pro knows good and well will result in another service call 8 months down the road. Incidentally, obviously you, as a professional, might not necessarily be located in the area where an internet user with a problem resides. Well, you can still benefit if "Call A Pro" is used; if I were faced with such a situation I would contact a reliable professional in the area and arrange for a finder's percentage of the service fee. Again, it behooves you to be certain that the problem will be fixed because that means referrals from satisfied customers. You can, to some extent, even explain to the customer that they should please call you for all such work in the future and not the "independent associate" that you dispatched to do the job. I am not suggesting that you "cut the local guy out of the loop". If the work he/she does endures and the customer is happy with it what possible reason would you have for using someone else? Beyond that, the obvious conclusion is that most professionals reading this probably offer a product, or service, that certainly does not require their presence "with" the customer. Now the facts:
"How To Do Anything Right!" page is up, but we need articles. Clarification -We consider a wide range of "How To" subject matter. For instance, a Dentist may want to submit a "How To Floss Properly" article. A Medical Doctor might submit a "How To Control Your Cholesterol" or "How To Manage Your Blood Pressure" article. A Childcare Professional might submit a "How To Potty Train Your Child" article. A LawnCare Provider will likely submit a "How To Keep Your Grass Green" article. Clarification - Keep in mind that "Call A Professional" rather than "Call A Pro" may be more suited to the author's area of expertise in certain cases; we will use "Call A Professional" in these cases. |
